Cannabis Education and Research Center Announced

(Pitman, NJ) - At the March 5, 2025 “Let’s Talk Cannabis” public cannabis education event, sponsored by Elucidation Strategies and the Pitman Wellness Center, the launch of the Cannabis Education and Research Center (CERC) was announced. 

Dedicated to furthering reliable and accurate information about cannabis, CERC’s mission is to create accessible pathways for plant medicine discovery and learning for public audiences.  

Elucidation Strategies and the Pitman Wellness Center co-launched the cannabis education initiative to address the information gaps that exist regarding cannabis science, consumption, policy/regulation, and a variety of other related topics.  CERC will feature educational events, a resource library, referral programs, and other learning activities.                                                 

“The needs of the general public are considerable when it comes to plant medicine, especially cannabis,” said Angela Speakman, founder of Elucidation Strategies.  “By providing a resource in South Jersey that features educational events and trusted professionals, people will be able to access credible and meaningful information about cannabis.  This is crucial for making informed decisions for individual wellness.”  

“Cannabis remains a confusing topic for many people,” said Bronwyn Lyman, owner of the Pitman Wellness Center. “We want to help people learn about the plant and how it can further wellness in their lives.  The Cannabis Education and Research Center is a welcome addition to PWC.” 

The Cannabis Education and Research Center is located at 110 North Woodbury Road, Pitman, NJ 08071.  CERC will host the next cannabis educational event on Wednesday, May 14, 2025.  CERC cannabis education events will be held throughout 2025.  Events will explore cannabis strain and mode education, consumption best practice insight, and information about health and wellness benefits.
