Community Conversation Follow-up, Rutgers University, Osher Lifelong Learning Institute

We’d like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the Rutgers University, Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, Cannabis Community Conversation on Thursday, January 16, 2024.

As promised, some follow-up resources from Q&A and post-event conversations:

"Where can I learn more about terpenes?"

  • Did you know that there's a Terpenes And Testing Magazine? This is just one of MANY resources out there that explores terpenes. Terpenes are natural chemicals found in plants, often associated with aroma, taste, and effects on the body. We have a robust list of digital resource links; shoot us an email and we'll share it.

"I heard someone say there was a cannabis nursing hotline. What was that again?"

  • Leaf411.org is an available resource to connect with a cannabis nurse to address cannabis questions. Leaf411 was built on the belief that affordability and accessibility to professional medical advice should never be barriers to using cannabis safely and effectively.

"What's the name of the book [Angela] mentioned during the program?"

"Do you have a flier so I can share this program with other people? I didn't even know that this kind of thing was available!"

And, yes, I am bummed that we didn't get to dive deeper into the ECS too.

Remember friends, you’ve got an open invitation to continue the conversation!
